Place an Apple logo at the top right of the pages on the Master Page. If you select the Helvetica, Lucida Grande, Courier or Myriad fonts and type Option-Shift and K, you get an Apple logo.
You will use the model I will hand out as a guide. Don't take any liberties. You must follow the instructions exactly. This is a scenario much like you might encounter at a corporation. If you work in a corporate design department, the corner office people will expect you to adhere to the company's visual guidelines.
You know what I mean: stay between the lines.
There are ground rules which apply to this exercise. Most are indicated on the sample distributed in class. The page is letter-sized (8.5” X 11”). The document is composed of three main text boxes: one for the promotional text; one for the “System Requirements” section; and one for the specifications table at the bottom.
All text must be formatted in the Myriad Pro font. You must use Paragraph Styles throughout the document. Note that some occurrences of the product names are formatted in Myriad Pro Italic. This must be done with a Character Style Sheet. You need to place the provided image of the displays at the designated size. Insert the Apple logo at the top-right corner of the page. Once you are done, create a new folder named “lastname, fullname” on your Desktop. Perform a “Package”, placing all the files in this folder. Copy the final folder in the appropriate “Drop Box”
