SLOGANS:

Ottawa's Festival of Ideas since 1997.

Imagination Is a Renewable Resource

COMPETITIVE FORCES

The Tulip Festival is putting on a competing event. Check it out so your concept does not conflict.

Writers Festival

We are going to collaborate with the Writers Festival to design a poster and a series of postcards.

Project Highlights

  • This project is worth 20% of your final grade.
  • Concepts are due week two.
  • You will design a poster and postcards for the Writers Festival.

The Specifics

The Festival has a great informational Web site. Please refer to it for background information. It wouldn't hurt to Google a bit too. The Festival has 8 different streams featuring different subject areas. We will design a postcard for each area. These postcards will be displayed together at many locations in the Ottawa area.

The essential elements on the poster are:

  • Logo
  • Web Site Address
  • Phone Number
  • Both slogans: "Ottawa's Festival of Ideas since 1997" & "Imagination is a Renewable Resource"
  • Sponsors

We Couldn't Have Done It Without You!

These are the sponsors who need to appear on the poster and on the backs of all the postcards:
